Fr Keith writes: Merry Christmas – Deacons Tom, Malcolm and Father Keith would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a joyful, peaceful New Year. Thank you to all the cleaners and stewards who have volunteered their time, so that both churches can be open for services. Thank you also to those who publish the newsletter and those who deliver to people’s doors. It has been an invaluable means of keeping people in contact.
LAUNCH OF CARITAS AT CORPUS CHRISTI
This Saturday December 18th Bishop Robert will officially launch Hexham and Newcastle Caritas at Corpus Christi church at 11.00am. The Mass will be live streamed on the Diocesan website www.diocesehn.org.uk

FOOD CO-OP
The Food Co-op will be closed for two weeks after Christmas. Food donations are needed until and including Tuesday 21st December so that they can be distributed on 21st and 22nd. Please no further food donations before Saturday 8th January ready for distribution on 11th and 12th January. These items are requested:

JOE’S PLACE
Joe’s Place is now fully open and is appealing for the following food items which can be placed at any time in the container at St Peter’s presbytery back door.

Corpus Christi: Mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 9.15am and Thursday at 10.00am.
St Peter’s: Mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 11.00am and Wednesday at 10.00am.
