OUTREACH HOUSING UPDATE – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Necessary work is now nearing completion in our house and we hope to welcome our first residents very soon. The house is being prepared and we have planned a cleaning day for Tuesday 25 th January. We also need to tidy up the very small garden area at the front of the house which needs clearing. If you can volunteer for either of these tasks even for an hour, please contact Mary Hughes on maryhughes5622@gmail.com or 07962 126304.
LAUDATO SI’ GROUP
All are welcome to the next Laudato Si’ meeting: Wednesday 19th January 7pm in St Peter’s Church.
SYNODAL MEETINGS
Following Pope Francis’ invitation for us to be a Synodal (Listening) Church, the Diocese has asked us to hold meetings to discuss our vision for a post-pandemic Church. We are invited to join any of the following meetings:
St Peter’s: In church on Wednesday 26th January at 7.00pm and on Zoom Thursday 27th January at 7.00pm.
Corpus Christi: In church after Mass on Sunday 30th January and on Zoom Sunday 30th January at 3.00pm.

If you would like to submit your thoughts by email, please give some thought to the following questions.
During and since the Covid pandemic, recall your experiences:
- What strengths and weaknesses have emerged during this period as a faith community?
- What has been the experience of the touch of God in these times?
- What challenges and vulnerabilities have been exposed in our lives, both individually and as a church, which need to be addressed?
- What changes would you like to see as we move forward?

BOOKING FOR MASS
Corpus Christi: Mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 9.15am and Thursday at 10.00am.
St Peter’s: Mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 11.00am and Wednesday at 10.00am. It is essential to book for Sunday at St Peter’s. Phone 07434 646950 on Thursday 3pm-7pm.
ZOOM SERVICES OF THE WORD – Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri at 10.00am.

FOOD CO-OP
Food donations are needed and can be left at Corpus Christi Church Mon, Tues, or Wed from 10am–12pm or St Peter’s presbytery back door at any time in the container provided.
Please bring Fresh fruit and vegetables Sat – Tues only.
Items required:
FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES, LONGLIFE MILK, EGGS, TINS OF SARDINES.
JOE’S PLACE
Joe’s Place is providing takeaway meals and is appealing for the following food items which can be placed at any time in the container at St Peter’s presbytery back door.

TINS OF MINCE, HAM, HOT DOGS and FRUIT.
