LAUNCH OF CARITAS AT CORPUS CHRISTI
On Saturday December 18th, Bishop Robert will officially launch Hexham and Newcastle Caritas at Corpus Christi church. Please see the Launch Invitation attachment for details.
LAUDATO SI’ MEEETING
COP26 comes to a close this weekend but we are urged to continue our efforts to care for the earth and the poor. Our Laudato Si’ Circle meets this Wednesday 17th at 7.00pm in St Peter’s Church. Please join us.
JOE’S PLACE
As we prepare to reopen with hot meals, Joe’s Place is appealing for the following food items which can be placed at any time in the container at St Peter’s presbytery back door.
TINS OF MINCE, STEWING STEAK, POTATOES, GARDEN PEAS, CARROTS, FRUIT
INSTANT MASHED POTATO, CUSTARD, CRUMBLE MIX
FOOD CO-OP
Food donations can be left at Corpus Christi Church Mon, Tues, or Wed from 10am–12pm or St Peter’s presbytery back door at any time in the container provided. Fresh fruit and vegetables only Sat – Tues.

BOOKING FOR MASS
Corpus Christi: Mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 9.15am and Thursday at 10.00am.
St Peter’s: Mass will be celebrated on Sunday at 11.00am and Wednesday at 10.00am. It is essential to book for Sunday at St Peter’s. Phone 07434 646950 on Thursday 3pm-7pm.
ZOOM SERVICES OF THE WORD – on Sunday at 10.30am; Mon, Tues, Wed and Fri at 10.00am.
